Zechariah 12:11a In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem.

The good King Josiah was fatally wounded in the valley of Megiddon. He was the last good king of the people of God. But there was a promise of one who would rule the nations. The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

Jesus came to the earth on a mission. He fulfilled that mission. He was the promised Savior from years ago but the chosen people of God rejected Him. One day there will be an awakening where all will know that Jesus is the Messiah. All will confess that He is Messiah. Every knee and every tongue will bow and declare that He is Lord. He is Lord of All.

I can only imagine the heart of God that grieves for all of those that reject His Son. As it says in this scripture, there will be a much sorrow when the masses realize that they rejected their Messiah. Let us not wait until then to accept Jesus as the Savior. Let us all receive Him now.

Oh what sadness awaits

Those that do not trust

Oh what pain torments

The clouded soul

Oh what cries be heard

The faintest heart

Out from the black sea

Unbelieving with turn

Made to confess

The Messiah has come
