Psalm 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts.

Sounds like an old gospel song I know. It is so important for me to know what is in my heart. I want a clean heart. I need a spotlight, a microscope, a magnifying glass, a shovel to shine, purge, amplify, dig up and dig out all the dirt, the stain of sin in me. God really helps with that excavation. He purges the sin. He reveals what deep rooted ugly things are embedded within us. I am grateful because I want to be that church that is without spot or wrinkle. I want to be the bride of Christ that will enter into the marriage supper of the Lamb. I want to have a pure heart so I can see my God. I want my thoughts to line up and agree with the word of God. The logos and rhema word. That is truth and the truth sets us free. Free of sin, guilt and shame. Free to love and live in the fulness of His glory.

Ways of meandering

Through the dreadful spaces

Straightened by the Creator

Open up the dark places

Abandoning over my all

Make it plain to see

My willingness to obey

My hunger for thee

Faithful to the end

Swollen with love songs

Fluttering wings of worship

Voice lifted up strong
