Matthew 9:22b Daughter, be of good comfort, thy faith hath made thee whole.

Updated: Oct 10, 2023

It flutters my heart when I see how personable the Lord is with us. He called the woman with the issue of blood, daughter. That is so consoling. It signifies a relationship. I know you. I see you. I am here for you. I love you. Jesus was not a stranger to the woman.

I love how Jesus said thy faith has made you whole. Not just well but whole. It is clear that the woman needed physical healing but the touch of the Master went even further. Her faith made her whole. Where nothing is missing and whatever was lost has been restored.

The woman pressed her way through the crowd to reach Jesus. She was determined that today was going to be the day that she would have a new life. A transformation. Faith compelled her to seek out Jesus and come in contact with Him. Let us learn a lesson from this woman and seek Jesus, come in contact with Him and be made whole.

The moment of intimacy

Introduced with the healing hand

My God turns His face towards me

Fleshed out by your words

More than what I hoped for

Completed in you
